Finnish Language classes Fall 2026
10 sessions taught online on Zoom September 7/10 – November 23/19
Beginners Class – Monday evenings 5:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Pacific Time
Classes start on Monday September 7
Get familiar with Finnish pronunciation, the alphabet, greetings and essential tourist vocabulary, plus some core grammar features. It’s a relaxed, fun class built around listening and repeating.
More Advanced Class – Thursday evenings 5:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Pacific Time
Classes start on Thursday September 10
Build on your foundation with different Finnish sentence types, including verb types 3 and 4, along with plenty of new vocabulary. You’ll also work toward constructing your own short story in Finnish. This class is a good fit if you’ve completed at least two previous classes.
